2021 Annual Conference and AGM and present on "Addressing Social Polarization and Hate Crimes"

Our team members Tariq Tyab and Yusuf Siraj were honoured to present at the 2021 Annual Conference and AGM of the Canadian Municipal Network on Crime Prevention. The focus of this year’s conference was supporting urban and rural municipalities, Indigenous communities, agencies, groups, and individuals in their efforts to prevent crime and increase community safety in the communities and neighbourhoods in which they work, live, learn, or play.

The conference fostered a community of practice through interactions and exchanges among participants.

The Canadian Municipal Network on Crime Prevention (CMNCP) brings together urban, rural, and Indigenous communities across Canada to build capacity, prevent and reduce violence and crime, and foster community safety and well-being (CSWB) through training, research, knowledge exchange, and expertise.
